Hi! My name is Sabeeha

Congratulations! You are finally doing it. You are ready to make some changes in your life and you are brave enough to ask for help along the way. Let us get started.
Helping others help themselves – cliché or not – has always been my passion. From being the friend that others ask for advice to the therapist that works to solve others’ problems, I truly feel no greater satisfaction than when I can help others. I enjoy listening to others’ stories of their lives, aiding them in processing those narratives, and meeting them where they are. My goal, both professional and personal, is to always provide an open mind, open heart, and positive attitude to everyone I meet. Whether you want to improve yourself, enhance your relationships with others, or just want someone to talk to, I am here for you.
I am a Licensed Psychological Associate (under the supervision of Philip A. Kerne, IV, Ph.D.) in the State of Texas. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Houston – Main and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston – Clear Lake. I provide evidence-based treatment stemming from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-focused Therapy. I also have specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I work primarily with children, adolescents, parents, and young adults from diverse backgrounds, addressing a variety of psychosocial concerns. Examples of these include anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, behavioral problems, self-harm, suicidal ideation, substance abuse, and anger problems.
If you are ready to take the next step toward helping yourself, I am here to join you on that journey. I cannot wait to meet you!
