Hi! I'm Fátima
Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.
Seeking support can be a courageous step, whether you are navigating a difficult season, working through personal challenges, or simply striving to better understand yourself. My goal is to help create a welcoming and positive experience from the moment you connect with our practice.
As the Administrative Assistant at Calderas Counseling, I am often one of the first people you’ll speak with when reaching out for support. My approach is warm, compassionate, and client-centered. Whether you have questions about our services, need help finding the right therapist, or would like guidance through the scheduling and intake process, I am here to help you feel informed, supported, and comfortable every step of the way.
I am fluent in both English and Spanish and am committed to making our services feel approachable, welcoming, and easy to navigate.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude. During my time there, I gained valuable experience as a research assistant in both cognitive psychology and existential psychology laboratories, exploring topics related to memory, meaning in life, identity, and human flourishing. I also served as a bilingual Crisis Text Line volunteer, supporting individuals experiencing emotional distress. These experiences deepened my appreciation for mental health and the importance of compassionate support.
I look forward to speaking with you and welcoming you to our practice.
