Hi! My name is Jeanine
Life can have many ups and downs and at times you may find yourself feeling stuck and not knowing in which direction to go. I can help with that! I am here to support you through life, both the good and the bad.
I am a licensed professional counselor associate supervised by Courtney Suddath, M.A., LPC-S. I also have experience in the public school setting. I was a middle school counselor for 3 years and a 5th grade teacher for 4 years. I have experience working with adolescents and their parents to best reach their goals. I truly enjoy getting to know others and learning about their backgrounds and experiences. I received my Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and Foods from the University of Houston. I graduated in 2017 with a Master of Education in School Counseling from Sam Houston State University.
I am primarily a person-centered therapist, but I also incorporate other theories including cognitive behavioral therapy and solution focused brief therapy as well. I truly enjoy working with adolescents and young adults. I can teach you skills that you can use to cope with the challenges that life brings you. I utilize mindfulness techniques and provide a safe therapeutic space free from any judgement. I have experience working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, stress, grief, self-harm, anger issues, and low self-esteem. Regardless of what life throws at you, I am here to listen and empower you by providing tools necessary to take on life’s challenges. Together, we will achieve your goals!
