Hi! My name is Lisa
I am excited to meet you!
As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, I enjoy helping others see new possibilities. This renewed vision often leads to change and growth that can provide more happiness. During our lives, sometimes we know things are not necessarily wrong, but they can be better!
Many often think seeing a therapist can be overwhelming, but a few small changes can bring some amazing outcomes.
I utilize the counseling theories of solution-focused therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy.
In addition, as a mental health professional, I support continued growth for myself through attending conferences and workshops to enhance the services I provide to my clients. I have worked over eight years as a school counselor supporting educators, families, and students from diverse populations. I have also worked successfully in the corporate world. My counseling experience includes working with those who struggle with anxiety, stress, self-harm, anger, and low self- esteem.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin. I also have a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Lamar University. I am currently under the supervision of Tamisha Daniels, LPC-S.
I enjoy working with teens, adults, and those seeking support to redefine what the next part of their life could look like. Life is challenging, but a willingness to be open to change and a sense of courage can create some amazing experiences for you.
