Hi! My name is Susana

Seeking support is an act of courage, and I’m grateful you’re here. Life can feel heavy when you’re carrying depression, anxiety, trauma, or navigating changes that leave you feeling overwhelmed or unsure of your next step. You don’t have to face these moments alone. Together, we’ll create a warm and compassionate space where you can explore your story with curiosity, self‑compassion, and support.

I show up with authenticity and genuine care, meeting you exactly where you are in your healing process. I believe that healing is a wonderful and transformative journey—one that requires bravery, tenderness, and the freedom to be fully yourself. My role is to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your strengths, your identity, and the life you want to build. You can expect a steady, thoughtful presence and a collaborative approach that honors your pace and lived experiences.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, supervised by Lindsey D. Taylor, MS, LPC-S, NCC, CSC, and I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University. Before beginning my counseling work in the United States, I spent ten years providing therapy in Mexico, supporting adults, couples, and families. I also bring 15 years of corporate experience from HP Inc., where I learned the value of empathy, clear communication, and supporting people through high‑pressure situations. These experiences continue to shape my culturally responsive and bilingual (Spanish/English) approach to therapy.

I work with young adults, adults, immigrants, bilingual clients, trauma survivors, and couples. I feel especially connected to supporting clients through depression, anxiety, stress, life changes and transitions, trauma, grief and loss, relationship challenges, emotional and spiritual well-being, and self‑esteem.

My clinical work is grounded in evidence‑based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and trauma‑informed practices. Together, we’ll explore patterns, build coping skills, and create meaningful steps toward the life you want to live.

I look forward to supporting you on your healing journey.
