Helping teens and adults navigate pressure, relationships, and life transitions with practical strategies that help them move forward.

Life can come with significant pressure. For teenagers, that may mean balancing academics, athletics, family expectations, friendships, and the demands they place on themselves. For adults, pressure may come from career responsibilities, relationships, family, or navigating a major transition. Couples may find themselves struggling to communicate or feeling disconnected as the demands of everyday life take over. Whatever brings you to therapy, having a place where you can feel heard, understand what is contributing to the challenges you’re facing, and determine what needs to change can help you move forward.

My approach to therapy is focused, observant, and purposeful. I listen carefully while also paying attention to patterns, behaviors, and the details that can help us understand what is happening beneath the surface. I don’t believe in overwhelming clients with advice. Instead, I focus on identifying what matters, offering perspective when it can make a difference, and providing practical strategies you can apply to your life. Together, we’ll identify the patterns and pressures affecting you, establish meaningful goals, and determine what changes can help you move forward. My approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while considering the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of your life.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Catrina Drinning-Davis, LPC-S, and earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Before becoming a therapist, I competed as an athlete at both the international and collegiate levels. That experience gave me firsthand knowledge of the discipline, expectations, and pressure that come with competitive athletics and continues to shape my work with young athletes managing the demands of school, their sport, and life outside of both. My clinical experience also includes working with adults and couples and helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, and significant life transitions. I provide therapy in English, Spanish, and Italian.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. Whether you’re a young athlete managing the pressure to perform, an adult navigating a demanding season or important transition, or a couple trying to understand what has changed in your relationship, we’ll look carefully at what is happening and focus on what can be done differently. I’ll bring careful attention, honest perspective, and practical tools to our work together so you can understand what is getting in the way, make purposeful changes, and move forward in a way that works for you.

How I Recharge

Walking and rock climbing are some of my favorite ways to step away from everyday responsibilities, stay active, and reset.

What I Value

Spending time with family and friends is important to me. I also enjoy slowing down with a good movie or series when I have time to relax.

Favorite Quote

“Obstacles don’t have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out a way to climb it, go through it, or work around it.”
