Hi! My name is Carla
Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.
If you’re carrying pain, confusion, or the weight of your past, you’re not alone. Life can feel heavy, especially when you’ve been trying to hold it all together on your own. Maybe you’re feeling anxious, unmotivated, disconnected, or frustrated with where you are. In our work together, we’ll create space to understand what’s going on beneath the surface and gently begin the process of healing and change.
I’m a bilingual, bicultural therapist who supports people who are ready to reconnect with themselves and move toward a life that feels more aligned and intentional. My approach is compassionate, steady, and focused on helping you move forward with clarity and direction. I draw from Existential Theory, Reality Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you explore your emotions, shift patterns that no longer serve you, and take steps toward the life you’re ready to create.
My path began in education. I started as a classroom teacher and then became a school counselor while earning my Master’s in Professional Counseling from Texas State University. I’ve lived in Texas, California, Mexico, and North Carolina, and these experiences continue to shape how I show up with cultural awareness, presence, and deep respect for the complexity of your story.
Healing doesn’t erase the past, but it can transform your relationship with it. Together, we’ll work through what’s been weighing you down and begin creating a life that feels steady, connected, and genuinely aligned with who you are becoming.
