Hi! My name is Hayden
I’m thankful you have taken the time to learn a little about me and I’m happy that you are beginning to
take one of the first steps in your therapeutic journey. Whether this is your first time seeing a therapist
or you have been in therapy before, I want you to know that you are not alone. Seeking help can be
intimidating and opening yourself up to another can be challenging. I strive as a therapist to make your
therapeutic experience as safe and inviting as possible without any judgment. I promise I will actively
listen to you with genuine interest and compassion as we work together to develop and accomplish your
therapeutic goals. Therapy is about you, and my goal as a therapist is to support and empower you as
you continue taking those steps to become the person that you want to be.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Chari Westcott, M.A., LPC-S. I am
originally from the DFW area of Texas where I completed my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the
University of Texas at Arlington. I later moved to Houston and continued my education at Sam Houston
State University, graduating with an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have experience
providing therapy to individuals, couples, and groups who have struggled with anxiety, stress,
depression, substance abuse, anger issues, and relationship issues. I primarily work from a Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy approach while also drawing from Person-Centered Therapy and Solution-Focused
Therapy.
A little bit about me personally, I love my wife and our two rescue dogs. They give me the strength I
need to go about my day. I am a big Dallas Stars hockey fan, I enjoy watching college football, and I love
video games. I am no stranger to therapy myself and wouldn’t be a therapist today if not for the
wonderful therapists in my life who empowered me along my own personal journey.
Thank you again for spending your time learning a little about me. I look forward to meeting you and
working with you!
