Hi! My name is Kim
I am so happy you are taking the next step towards your authentic self. Whether you are yearning for greater harmony in your relationships, grappling with internal and external battles with perfectionism, or wanting to learn more about yourself–I am here to help you tend to your inner
garden and nourish what allows you to grow in your Life story. Whatever the reason for you being here, together, we'll navigate and empower your life from a holistic perspective based on
self-love and self-care.
I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Associate supervised by Karimah Rose LMFT-S, LPC-S. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Family Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California.
I am honored to welcome you exactly as you are and support your highest potential. Our work will be collaborative, cater to your needs, and in alignment with your unique goals. I work primarily from a person-centered approach with incorporations of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Also, as an Asian American therapist, I understand the cultural nuances and traditional values that are important to be explored in therapy work. I am passionate about working with body image struggles, relational issues, friendships, perfectionism and the AAPI community.
My clients would describe me as curious, warm, direct, empathetic, quirky, and authentic. A little bit about me, I enjoy running, sunbathing, and reading at the park. I am happiest when I am playing board games with my family/friends, trying new coffee shops, and having solo dance parties.
