Why do you love being a part of Calderas Counseling?
I love being able to help families and make a difference in their lives through the work we do. Hearing from parents or clients about the positive impact therapy has had on them makes me feel grateful and we cherish that.
What do you enjoy most about your work with clients?
I am often the first point of contact therefore I get to help clients by answering their questions and explaining how therapy at our practice works, allowing them to make educated decisions. My favorite thing is recommending a therapist who turns out to be a really good fit for the client.
What challenged you this week? Could you have handled it differently?
I was challenged by going back to the gym for the first time in 2 months; I had not been able to go due to travel, work and feeling under the weather. This highlighted the importance of consistency and doing a little every day, even if it was at home in the garage. If I had applied that, the first two days of going back to the gym would have been easier!
What three things do you need to succeed for the week?
Support from colleagues.
